Sorry for posting a new topic : | I used to know a formula for adding the numbers in each segment of a column to get a total. How do I set this up? Like this=

= 4 *total*

For your example you would type the following into cell A4: "=A1+A2+A3"

You could also use the SUM function

=SUM(range of data)
In the beginning there was the command line.
