I bought a computer from Hewlett Packard and although i am very happy with the computer i just wondered if anyone could tell me how to completely remove programs like Real Player (right off the hard drive) which i have no intention of ever using that the manufacturer included upon the installation disk. Thanks all  MB

Use the MS "add/remove programs" in the control panel; just be sure you know what you are removing. You will be unable to remove these from the installation disk, but there may be a function that allows you select what applications and programs to install (should you ever need to reinstall it)
Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.
