I have a Compaq notebook and have Windows XP installed. I've had 2 problems with the computer. The 1st is that I did a system restore and now do not have WinDvd and I can only play video Cd's.The 2nd problem is that I want to connected my computers to a router but my notebok setup wizard doesn't work even though I have a WiFi button. I have 4 Compaqquick restore discs and IOperating System Disc. Should I try and reinstall all the Discs?

It is possible that you did not install all of the drivers or all of the original programs that came with the computer. You must install ALL of the disks for this.

What kinds of labels do the disks have? Is it just "Restore Disks" #1-4 or do they have different names like: Operating System, Drivers, Applications, etc?
