Whenever I access a folder containing pictures, the thumbnails for them generate -- and I can actually see them. But this only lasts for a few seconds; the thumbnails get replaced by Vista's generic landscape icon. I'm not sure when this problem started -- at first, I was not bothered by it, since I wasn't working with my photos, so I didn't pay attention to it. But it has persisted for at least a month, in all folders with pictures in them. And I've made sure that the "Show thumbnails" options were set in both "Folder Options" and "Advanced System Settings".

Maybe it was from me changing the registry a long time ago? I'm not sure.
So, if someone knows a key I could check to turn on/off thumbnails, that would be useful.
Or, if you have any other idea how this problem occurred, I'd be really grateful.

Thank you!
