I've been trying to de-bug my computer because it's recently slowed way way down.

Already deleted all the @$@$@# my husband downloaded.
Re-loaded SuperAntiSpyware (which my husband deleted to 'make the computer run faster') and ran a scan, nothing was found except tracking cookies.

When I go to analyze/Defragment my hard drive I get the following error message

"Disk Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: (C:).
Please run Chkdsk /f."

Don't know what the Chkdsk is or why it won't let me defragment my computer. Becoming extremely frazzled and about the throw the whole computer out the window

Please help
