I came across an exterrnal 2.5 SAS hard drive. Will an enclosure for SATA work. A tech said it would not work.

honestly I dont too know about external 2.5 SAS hard drive...
but if that hardrive is use SATA controller than it will work on SATA enclosure..
and if not use SATA controller than it will not work on SATA enclosure...
could you tell what is your hardrive...brand and type...
