I was suggested by the norton community to Remove the rootkit from your computer, Then after the post i used Norton Power Eraser , and restarted the system, my LAN was not there, I tried to re -installed but no use, and i re - installed the OS

Can a rootkit survive OS re-installation,

Service Pack 2

Norton Antivirus 2010 Version
