I have not had any luck installing KB982381 update. It dowloads but won't install, and fails every time. I've even tried to install it directly from Microsoft's site. I've asked Microsoft numerous times but after a couple emails I don't get a reply back. I have McAfee 8.5 and even disabled on-access scanning, but it still won't install. Any ideas? I have XP Professional SP3, and am running IE7. I tried IE8 once and the update went away, but I didn't like IE8 so I went back to v7.

Did you download the correct version for your version of IE and Windows?

I've tried a couple times, to no avail. I went to the link you posted and clicked and got an error message, attached.

When I researched the package referenced, it says that 933566 is for Vista or Windows Server, and couldn't find it for XP SP3. When I tried to reinstall from the error screen, I got another error: "Failed to migrate dependent packages".
