My microphone stopped working, and when I went into the device manager, there is an "!" next to Plug and Play Bios Extension. When I right-clicked for properties, it told me there was a problem in the registry (Code 19)

Asus support site is down and I can't download the 1013 Bios again.

Can someone help?

Thanks,

Frank

If it needs that BIOS flashed you will have to wait til their site is back up. Hve you unistalled the drivers (from the device manager) and delete the device entry in the device manager, reboot, and allow Windows to reinstall the device?

From this page: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documen...jk_dec_lgsc.asp

To fix this problem you can first try running a troubleshooting wizard. If that does not work, you should uninstall and then reinstall the hardware device. (Code 19)

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
