Hi I have a fujitsu laptop model number LBS6120-AA029E0B0. After not being used for 6 months my laptop would turn on with the fan whering but not recognizing the hard drive. On occasions it did recognize the hard drive it would work for a short while then freeze needing a restart. where it may or may not recognize the hard drive. Now it will not turn on at all (please note the battery is no good so am using mains).

Any help to solve the problems would be apprciated.

ps running windows xp professional which has not been updated in some time.

Regards Tad

Try this link for a laptop battery http://www.buy.com/prod/replacement-laptop.../214578675.html

Your laptop may also have a dead motherboard BIOS battery, you should look into replacing that battery as well, this might be why your having issues with drives being detected and then not being detected.

Here's your manual http://www.manualnguide.com/dl/7572/
