staring XP in safe mode HOW??

Hi,

ok you probably and loads of people ask you about this but...

I have a Microsoft Windows XP version 202 service pack 3 in Home Edition.

the only problem i have is that the computer is extremely slow and I want to try scanning it in safe mode but I cant get into safe mode, now I have tried repeatly pressing F8 but getting no where, any ideas...

hi, you don't say which make computer but some people find that F5 gets them to safe mode. If no joy get back to us.
