Hi everyone,

I found my way here through HijackThis because I have one of those nasty redirect things going on. This looks to be a big forum full of well-informed people, so it looks like I might be in the right place. But what I can't figure out is which sub-forum deals with HijackThis logs.

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Hello the73vetteman and  to Bleeping Computer.

Please take a few moments to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the forum works.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There is a lot of very useful information there.

Yes I can direct you :flowers:

The procedure is now to read the Preparation Guide For Use Before Using Malware Removal Tools and Requesting Help. Once you obtain the analysis logs requested the guide will direct you where to post your help topic. You can start at Step #6 if that is your preference. HijackThis is not the main analysis tool used these days, that is why it is not asked for in the guide. If you post the HijackThis log a helper/malware removal team member is likely going to ask you for what is required in the preparation guide.
