Hi

This is my first post on ANY forum!!

Ive played (I hate to say worked)_ with computers for about 10 years self taught myself a lot but I just cant keep up! Spyware is driving me nuts and I dont have time to do all the research and figuring on my own anymore for all the new changes. problems and software. sooo I thought I try a forum and this seemed a good one. so bear with me this is a new experiance.

To start and what brought me to this forum is I need to post a problem with malware (ad-w-a-r-e) So I will try to figure out the appropriate forum but if I cant I will check here again, for a reply.
thanks

Welcome to BC! I see you have posted your log in the HJT forum; our team of volunteer experts will review it and work with you to resolve any problems they find. Please be patient, since logs are taken in a first-posted, first-reviewed order and other members are most likely ahead of you in the queue.

I suggest you carefully read the instructions for posting a log that can be found here:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/How...s-Log-t956.html

Using several of the more common anti-adware applications on a regular basis and keeping them- - -as well as your anti-virus---updated is a wise step in today's internet. More often than not, malware is the result of user indiscression or lack of care in researching a product before downloading it. There are several very good, basic tutorials here at BC that can teach you about the different kinds of malware and the prevention you need to take.
Regards,
John
