I'm running "real-time" sec. checks w/microsoft sec. essentials......comes back clean every time but, when my comp. Slowed way down, I ran the free ver. of Uniblue (blo??) reg. check & got "354 registration warnings....Buy it now!" So, how valid is this? Is Mic. Sec. Ess. a sufficient virus/spyware program? Can I....should I...run a computer chk. w/another program?? THX!

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Sounds like they are just trying to make a buck off of you. I wouldnt buy it!

Most of us here use multiple programs, all of which are free
I use Avast antivirus, MalwareBytes AntiMalware, SuperAntiSpyware and sometimes Spybot Search and Destroy.
Each program finds things that the others do not.
In the beginning there was the command line.
