I have XP Home on a dell desktop. I ran Malwarebytes and SuperAntispyware and they both found a bunch of virus's. I re-ran until clean. After the last reboot the mouse wouldn't work. It see's the USB mouse and loads the correct driver when I plug it in but it won't let me use it. I have switched the mouse out with a different one and the same thing happens. Another strange part is I can remote into the box and use the mouse just fine, but locally no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions? I am at a loss.

Thanks!

Does the optical light on the mouse light up when they are plugged in?
In the beginning there was the command line.
