This is the problem I am having: Yesterday I had the google redirect problem every search was redirected to random websites, I tried to run malware malbytes and it would not open up so I unistalled it, downloaded again and it would still not open up. I ran rkill and rkill did not detect anything. This morning when I came in to work internet explorer just freezes up when I try to get on the internet. I started the computer in safe mode and tried to run malbytes and it would not open up again. I tried to run The Shield Deluxe which is our anitvirus that would not open up either. I am at a loss any help would be appreciated. I do not know how the computer got infected. I am running Windows XP Professional
