I uninstalled Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash and Shockwave about 10 days ago when I had a Malware problem. All is fine now, but everytime I try to install Adobe Flash the install stops without any error warning and just stops. I install their DLM (download mgr) but I can't get any fartther than that. The download/install just putters out and does not install.

I uninstalled with control panel and Adobe's uninstaller. I did not install Adobe Reader but went with PDF X-Change Viewer.

I had no problems with Shockwave.

Use the Flash uninstall tool at this link and then install the new version.

Thanks Frank316, I tried that but no joy. I have already tried that Adobe uninstaller 3 times. I found a flashinstall log that I don't understand:

UPDATE: I found instructions for Manual Install and that worked just fine.

Isn't it already installed?

Yes, I used the manual option to install, not the automatic.
