Okay so I will give you guys the long and short of it.

Several weeks ago around the first of July I was doing some research on changing my Windows XP Pro theme. I wanted something custom and cool. In my search I found out about Rainmeter and Rockit Dock and proceeded to download them. Afterwards I continued to look for themes. Several sites hosted ms stylesheets which required me to change a thing in windows inorder to be used. I downloaded the tool and the themes started to work.

Right after this I noticed that my computer became infected with some sort of russian malware. I also noticed that my WAN had stopped working. The malware started automatically and wouldn't stop running. I quickly restarted my computer ran Spybot S&D went to advanced tools and stopped the program from starting. I proceeded to run spybot and Malware bytes but neither would eliminate the problem completely. I called a friend who runs a professional computer repair company and said as a last resort I should find download and run combofix in safemode. I did so and my problem was fixed, I had my WAN, and I was a happy camper.

Recently my problem resurfaced but now the Malware was different and there were several. I also noticed that my WAN had stopped working again. I ran AVG, Spybot, Malware, Hijackthis, and Adware but none fixed the problem. So I once again ran combofix. (I realize now that I shouldn't have, I didn't know about these forums.)

I went to google once again and found these forums and your preparation guide. I tried to run the programs that the guide told me about. The DDS wouldn't work at all, and the GMER keeps freezing my computer.

All and all you guys are my last hope and I need some help. Is there anyway to fix this problem and get my WAN back?

Note: I need my WAN to access itunes store and functions of other applications.

Thank you,

I need you to post in a different forum. I would move this topic there, but you stated that your ran ComboFix and consequently you have some logs from running it.

Please create a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Since you have run ComboFix, please include the ComboFix log in the new topic. Please be sure to include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to try to resolve them.

Since you cannot produce the DDS and GMER logs, include the information that you were unable to produce the them and why and include the ComboFix log along with a description of your computer issues.
