Hi,

In the past, I was able to hide disk drives with TweakUI in Windows XP. I recently ran ComboFix to help to clean a rootkit infection I had, and now the drive that I had hidden is always visible. I've tried re-installing TweakUI, editing the registry manually, and using the DiskPart tool from the command prompt. Nothing will hide the drive anymore.

What may have happened? How can I restore the ability to hide a disk drive?

Thanks in advance.

I recently ran ComboFix

Did you run it on your own?

I ran it at the suggestion of an IT guy I know, but he's not affiliated with this website.
