I have joined bleepingcomputer to try to clean up my computers. I have 2 boys (7 & 9), and they seem to find the most interesting things on the net. Unfortunately this leads to many problems that I am extremely ill-equipped to fix. My laptop is rather old (it still runs XP), and it was infected by the antivir malware. I am still in the progress of cleaning it up with the great guide on this site. I have CA internet suite, but apparently that doesn't stop everything. I have been looking at the forums, and I see this malware program popping up quite a bit. Hopefully I can get it removed so the kids can go back to penguin club, or whatever it is called.

Just wanted to say hello, and thank you all for looking out for the computer illiterate.

Hello and  to Bleeping Computer.

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
