I have replaced the 15.4 display on an Acer Aspire 5002. The screen was dim before and after the r & r. I then replaced the inverter since I had no way to check it with same results. I then connected an external monitor to it and it works fine. I double checked the connections, so I am concluding that the lcd is defective. Before I send it back I wanted to see if there is anything else that I may be missing. Thanks
