Im pretty sure Im infected
When I try to update windows I get the error cannot connect Windows Update_80072EFE
also I cannot browse to any microsoft website pages, I get the connection was reset instead of the page.
I have tried sytem restore but this says can not complete.

Heres what Ive tried so far
I have run Malwarebytes, and AVG antivirus, and windows defendor.

But still cannot run updates.

(also noticed if I try to reboot, the computer goes to blank screen, but if I turn off, then back on, Its ok, just not on reboot?)

any help,

I tried superantispyware but still no luck.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at Step 6.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
