Hi, My name is Ric Bennett, I am a Florida boy who has been relocated to Eastern Oregon and loving every minute of it. I am a semi retired disabled veteran who is living at my father in laws spread and learning all kinds of new things. I never realized that there could be so much to do around a place. I have fond stuff under trees in the back of the barn etc that I know have been there since the turn of the century. Things move rather slow here and no one seems to get in too big of a hurry for anything.. I have seven children... One is an NCIS agent who just returned from Africa and is now in San Diego.. My next son is an enviormental specialist with an oil company in Gautier, MS. Daughter married with one baby boy Aydan in Biloxi, MS her husband works for a construction company. She is working on her Masters Degree in Education. Another daughter just finished her Masters Degree in Special Education at USM and is working I believe in Gulfport, MS. Next son is a manager at a Sonic in Biloxi, MS. I then have a 13 year old son going on 30 and a 9 year old who still loves his mom and thinks his dad invented just about everything.. I have a wonderful wife who grew up on this farm and can work circles around most men.. We are doing our best of making the most out of our situation of the second great depression.. I have done many things from owning and operating a dive shop, teaching scuba, captain of a charter boat, owned and operated a cabinet and millwork company, owned and operated a convenience store, owned and operated a construction company, owned and operated a pool company, and am presently blending used motor oil into diesel fuel and starting a company that locates lost keys and personal objects for fund raisers for non profit organizations. I have worked with computers since some of the first apples came out, using the different operating systems and always just learning enough to be dangerous. Since the web it has given some of us the ability to assist others with their problems only because we are able to seek out the answers needed to make the proper repairs. I have done some pretty amazing things simply by being persistant and not giving up looking for the answers. I enjoy what I do and love my family very much....
