Clean!

Hows the PC acting?

Today is Sunday, and haven't had a popup since the fix!
Decided to try using FIREFOX and see how it works out.
Thank You soooo much for all your help. Although, it's frustrating, I learned alot about security this past week.
Any other sugg. about which virus scan to purchase when the trials run out & secure surfing?
I can post in other forum if necc.
Thanks
Anthony

Please Install these 2 to add to the Security of the PC!

SpywareBlaster:
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
Update Immediatly!

WinHelp2002 Hosts File
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts2.htm

Disable System Restore and Restart the PC
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen...src=sec_doc_nam

Renable System Restore and restart the PC,this will clear out all old nasty restore points and create a nice new fresh clean one for you to fall back on should you ever need it.

Read through those 3 little black links in my signature to get some extra ideas about how to avoid this in the future.

Make sure you keep your Windows Operating System up to date by visiting Windows Updates
regularly to download and install any critical updates and service packs.

Go ahead and remove any of the tools downloaded that are of no use anymore!

Both Ad Aware and Spybot Search&Destroy have Real Time Monitors as added Plugins.

Ad Aware= Ad Watch
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adwatch/

Spybot= TeaTimer
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/33.html

There is also another program that I prefer called SpywareGuard by JavaCool.
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html

I only recommend using one of these and my choice has allways bee SpywareGuard.

Any other questions??
