As requested when signing up, I am posting to this Introduction forum.

I got owned by the Defense Center malware kit the other day, and found this site while searching for a cure. Signed up because I wanted to let the author of the Defense Center removal article know that I also got the TDSS/TDL3 rootkit as a result, and would you please update the article to give a post-removal step of checking for this (and possibly other) rootkits.

Thank you all for this site, it was a great help. Please don't take it the wrong way when I say I hope I don't have to come back any time soon. ;)
