hi All,

I have a small LAN. 2 workstations got infected with 'mmsvc32.exe' file which is a virus according to various antivirus companies. I have upto date norton antivirus but it does not detect it as a virus. I did online scanning from trendmicro that also does not detects it. Then I used 'Hijackthis' and i cleaned it. But it came back again when the machine restarted. I deleted the file from current running process, searched the files on machine and deleted and cleaned the registry also, but no use. It comes back again.

Can anyone suggest me how to get rid of this.

Thanks.

Symantic recommends temporarily disabling system restore and then running Norton AV in 'safe mode."
