Hello All!

Hope everyone is having a decent day so far or is looking forward to one :flowers:

A couple days ago I was watching some tv shows on tvshack.cc and clicked on one of the links (divxden.com). I could hear the sound of the show but no video until I clicked on the screen a few times. I jumped the screen to full screen and started to enjoy my show (Weeds! <3).

Once I finished the episode I was disappointed to see that somehow, antimalware doctor had infiltrated my computer..even with ESET NOD32 anti virus protection on. A simple google search lead me to this site and I followed the instructions to remove the scum from my computer using MalwareBytes.

It sorta worked and MalwareBytes removed several infected files/folders from my computer. Everything seemed to be normal. After a day, my google chrome was opened up a new tab to an unknown address which fortunately could not be connected to. This is when alarm bells went off in my head.

Upon further usage, I had my IE pop once with a futureshop ad. Thats when I decided to dig deeper into cleaning this menace and came across the combofix method.

I signed up on bleepingcomputer AFTER running the combofix scan and I sincerely apologize for that

I was wondering if someone could tell me a remedy or perhaps go over the logs and let me know of everything is clear now (I followed the combofix guide religiously!).

Here are the specs:

-Windows 7 Ultimate

-Intel Core 2 Duo processor

-4GB RAM

To the malware help team, your help is greatly appreciated. I can post combofix log upon request.

Thanks a bundle guys!

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at step 6.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Since you have run ComboFix, please include the ComboFix log in the new topic. Please be sure to include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to try to resolve them.

If you cannot produce any of the other logs, then please create the new topic anyway, include the information that you were unable to produce the other logs and why and include the ComboFix log along with a description of your computer issues.
