My name is Pat. I'm trying to fix a computer that's used by my entire family, so I'm sure it's full of all types of spyware "stuff". I hope to find some help here. Nice to meet everyone!

A shared computer can be a real thorn in the side; educating everyone using it about safe computing is the best long-term solution. There are some very good Tutorials on beginning computer security that the whole family can read with profit.
I am sure you can find the help you need.

Yes the more users the more careful you have to be about spyware.
