I started my pc this morning and I got the blue screen. This is what it said in the technichal information.

Stop: 0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0x89AB9984, 0xF78CA8Ac, 0xF78CA5A8.


I am running xp sp3. Any help wopuld be appreciated.

What kind of Machine? systems specs? What is the Exact error as it appears on the screen? Can you boot into safe Mode?

it is an emachine with twos harddrives, 2 gbs of ram, i cannot even start safe mode.

does under stop says something???

detailed brand and type please???
and do you use 1 chip of memory or use 2 chip of memory??

have you updating driver or installing any program recently???

its an emachine model t2894, i have two 1gb chips for memory,intel celeron. It does not say anything under stop that is all is says under technichal information on the blue screen. no ihavent updated anything or installed anything new on there i left it on when i went on vacation came back and it was on there.

How long had you left it on for a day, afew days, or more than a week?
