i was just wondering if there is any usb thumb drives out there that store data but also can transfer them direct to a laptop through Wifi.

say i am working on a public computer at university and also have my laptop next to it. i plug in a usb thumb drive in public computer. then anything i add to the thumb drive is automatically transferred to my laptop.

without having to disconnect the thumb drive from the university computer.

the reason i would like this is i can not connect to the internet on the laptop at university (no wifi access where i am and no network connection points). so while i am downloading papers and stuff on the university computer i would like to transfer them directly to my laptop at the same time.
