Hi,

I am a first time poster and I am pulling my hair out.

In a lapse of concentration I managed to allow an active x item to be run on my pc, at which point all hell broke loose, and I started getting pop ups telling me my pc was infected yadda yadda yadda, obviously not legit, so I first attempted to kill the processes and run spybot S&D, which had dissappeared, so killed my pc and yanked the network cable.

So far i have run malwarebytes, as well as a newly donloaded spybot, all in all this appeared to remove the viruses and malware I had, which included Zbot and some others. However things are still not hunky dorey.

I ran kaspersky virus remover as i noticed some of my html files on my pc were getting text added to them, upon running this (unfortunately I didn't keep the log) I told me I had several hundred heuristic script-droppers or the like which were the html files, it also pointed to almost all dll and exe files saying they were infected with type_win32. Initially i quaratined them all, but without the exe and dll everything failed to load, to I recovered the dll and exe files. The html file problem appears to still be evident.

It was at this point i decided I should ask someone who might actually know, which is what brings me to you guys. So I started again, I have run rkill.com downloaded from you and then malwarebytes (which I have logs for and reported 1 threat), I then ran DDS, and I have the DDS.txt and attach.log, and then finally I am running GMER.

If anyone can help me on this I would be incredibly grateful.

So as per the forum guidleines (I believe) here are the ddr logs, and I have attached the 'attach.txt' from ddr, also included my run from malwarebytes.

TIA

Rich

Not trying to bump my topic, but wanted to update my situation, as it woudl appear now my pc no longers boots, even in safe mode, as it hangs at isapnp.sys

From what i read this could be due to one of my drivers being infected, which is not beyond the realms of posibility.
