DC IN Port Thinkpad SL500

So, like the topic says, the DC IN port on my thinkpad SL500 is cracked right down the middle and no longer receives power from the charger. You can see how this is a problem :thumbsup:

I found a replacement port on ebay for 16 bucks, but I really don't trust ebay in the slightest. I tried looking on newegg with no success.

by the way, as with most of my problems, this isn't my computer, but rather my brothers, so getting this fixed before he has to go to college is imperative to my survival. any ideas?

I have ordered components on E-bay before there usually pretty good, You want to look for NEW or working when pulled parts. Power ports are hard to screw up, just make sure its the proper one for your motherboard. I had a hard time finding one at a shop. Lucky its a plug in type not soldered to the board.
