Hello, I'm having what appears to be multiple Trojan Horse problems on my computer. I've been using AVG free edition primarily and it worked fine for me until a couple days ago. It doesn't seem to be getting rid of anything. The virus(s) caused task manager and everything else to lock up, opened several fake anti-virus programs that I hadn't installed, killed my net connection and told me firefox was internet explorer and that I was under a false proxy, I thought after a deep scan with AVG without my internet hooked up I had rid myself of the problem, but then today I keep getting new warnings from AVG constantly. I have enabled my firewall and done a DDS scan, as well as HiJackThis scan, and I can't make sense of things. Can someone help me get my computer fixed?

Just now I'm getting Threat detected! C:System Volume Information\_restore{C59B71A8-2C18-4308-AE7D-40593B63247E}\RP317\A0051021.exe

Hello, I'm having what appears to be multiple Trojan Horse problems on my computer. A couple days ago, my son went to Sesame Street.org (I was with him the whole time watching, so it's not something he did) and the sounds on the flash videos weren't working even though the volume seemed fine. When I went to figure out what happened the system volume wasn't working, and locked up.

One of the latest AVG messages: Threat detected! C:System Volume Information\_restore{C59B71A8-2C18-4308-AE7D-40593B63247E}\RP317\A0051021.exe

Trojan horse Downloader.Generic_c.BOC Detected on open. Process name: C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe
Process ID: 1424

Also after rebooting my computer I'm having a RUN DLL error kbdacl.dll scheduled but unable to open, and I have no idea what that is, couldn't find any inforamtion online yet either.

My AVG just did it's scheduled scan and the same crap I deleted last night is showing back up, among new things.

I upgraded my flash player last night, disabled Java on firefox plug-ins, cleared my browser cookies... anyways I don't know what the cause of the problem(s) so getting rid of it is a problem.

here's some more threats I found upon waking up after my AVG scan:

I saved a DDS and Attach log which I can provide if asked to.

Merged topics moving result to log forum. DDS log in first post. ~ OB

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and we are trying our best to keep up. Please note that your topic was not intentionally overlooked. Our mission is to help everyone in need, but sometimes it takes just a little longer to get to every request for help. No one is ignored here.

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.

Please include a clear description of the problems you're having, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Please refrain from running tools or applying updates other than those we suggest while we are cleaning up your computer. The reason for this is so we know what is going on with the machine at any time. Some programs can interfere with others and hamper the recovery process.

Even if you have already provided information about your PC, we need a new log to see what has changed since you originally posted your problem.
We need to create an OTL Report
  1. Please download OTL from one of the following mirrors:
  2. Save it to your desktop.
  3. Double click on the icon on your desktop.
  4. Click the "Scan All Users" checkbox.
  5. In the custom scan box paste the following:
