I'm going to suggest the CHKDSK /F from a Command Prompt. Let it run at the next reboot, and then try to scan. Sometimes there are bad sectors that jam up scanners. If the problem persists after that, you then know that it is software and not hardware.

I have McAfee.
to scan I use Malwarebytes and ESTE(online scan). It freezes every time I start a scan.
I reinstall NIC, chkdisc no bad clusters. when scan in safe mode, no virus.
Help!

I would suggest starting a New topic in the Am I Infected Forum.

If it is malware causing the freezes, then a malware specialist can help.
