Antivirus Help/Advice

Ive been running Kaspersky 2010 but im wondering if thats the best out there.

Please, let me know your opinions on what antivirus software you think is best. any reasons backing your statement would be appreciated.

I guess most of the users on this forum would recommend Avast! as a free antivirus.

I think Brainy's correct. I like avast. It's effective and free.

I've been using KIS in all it's incarnations for about 6 years. Works for me. For paid software NOD32 and KIS get my vote. I prefer having the on demand support personally. But if budget is a concern, I'll let the freware users chime in.

I would agree with Animal as there is no free KIS and ESET they are the best.
Free I would select Avast and AVira.
