I am working on a friends Pc that is running Windows 7 a few days ago the antivirus program said that it had viruses on it. It was running MacAfee but when I looked at it was not running nor could I start it when I clicked on it.
I removed it and tried to reinstall it but I canít put it back on.
There is a program running on it called Master Security AV and keeps prompting to buy the full version to remove the viruses.

Could you advise me on the best way remove this and get MacAfee installed again and the system running smoothly.

I have taken the PC off the internet and have made backup of the files

Thanks for your help with this
