Hi, I know this is an old app. but it works for me and I have a copy with the licence key for my new xpsp3 notebook. I installed the app MS Office 2003 off the disc and am not sure what updates should be added.
I did a MS Windows update scan and only found about 5 updates and I know that there has to be more than that and I don't want to corrupt my install by not starting the updates from the beginning. The one update that stood out in my mind was the SP3?
Can anyone tell me how I know what updates I need to start with to make this app current.
I tried to open a Windows Word doc. that opens on my other xpsp3 notebook and it won't open with this new install from this disc, likely b/c it is not up to date.
All help genuinely appreciated.
Thank you,

Hi, if word will not open more than likely the installation of office is corrupted, try a office repair then if that did not resolve the issue, uninstall/reinstall.
