Hello all,

A client has just recently reported to me after running a virus scan that the scan has detected that the trojan adwaheck has infected a .cab file. She has tried to quarantine and delete the file from within her Norton antivirus software, but it will not allow it. I have not been over there yet to see for myself exactly what's going on. Symantec gave it a low threat assessment rating so I am not terribly worried. My client has not noticed any abnormal behavior from this pc as of yet. Just thought I'd ask the experts to see if anyone has had experience with this particular trojan in the past.

Thanks,

Andy

Symantic indicates that Norton will get rid of it:

You will need to disable system restore.
