My Goodness? Fancy asking that from an Aussie. We have so many Team Sports here that we all try to follow, Mate. We are just about 10% of America's Population, but rank near them in Sports Achievements in International Venues, Maybe this Why?

Here is a List of just some of them and Links. We play Local, State and National, both Male and Female. BTW, all are played at International Level and our disabled are fierce Competitors in most it all:

There is so many more to add, but everyone can see they are ALL Played Here.

No Offense ever intended to anyone, I really hope it is enlightening Information on how most Aussies just tick away, from what he/she Learns as a Kid??

The only thing to actually beat whatever comes at you is to Learn to Face it, no matter what it is. Aussies do that well simply. They simply Teach their Kids, whether by Sports or just take little man/woman out in the Paddock and sort them out, nicely and they are Respected for it,

I do admit to my Shame, that not ALL Aussies are like this, Sorry. It is just my Honest Personal Opinion.

Ahhh sports.

American Football I would have to say the N.E Patriots. Years ago it would have been the Dallas Cowboys, when they had upstanding players as Emmit Smith, Troy Aikman, and Deion Sanders.

In Basketball it will always be the Boston Celtics.

For Baseball it is the N.Y Metropolitans, aka The Mets. Interesting story as to why I'm a Mets fan. When I was a kid I was living in one housing project where the crowd I was running around with didn't give a hoot about sports. We moved to another one where the whole universe revolved around batting averages and ERAs. When the kids I started hanging around with found out I didn't care about sports they we horrified. I had to pick a team to root for post haste. So I wrote down every baseball teams name on a separate piece of paper, placed them in a can, and picked one at random. Everyone thought that was hillarious, because the Mets at the time were horrible. That was over thirty five years ago, and I've been a Mets fan ever since.

NFL
Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams. In that order.
College football, too many to list. Basically teams that run the pro offense, no Texas or California teams.
Baseball, don't really pay attention to it.
Hockey, Colorado Avalanche
Basketball, don't pay much attention to it.
Golf, Freddie Couples, Ernie Els, Phil Mikelson. Tiger just has to big of an ego. No room for fans..

Years ago I was able to watch some Aussie rules football on cable TV. That is one tough sport, they make every other "football" sport wimpy. Wish I could watch them again..
