Hello. I have a Samsung M300 cell phone that contains several irreplaceable photos. I need to transfer these photos from the phone to my computer or other media so that (hopefully) prints can be made. I got a data cable (does this need a driver?), but my computer (running Win XP/Ubuntu)does not see the phone. Does anyone know of a way to get these photos out safely?

Yes, click on the Software tab in downloads: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/detail/s...l_name=SPH-M300

And the download link for the user manual: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/detail/s..._name=SPH-M300#

I realize it's the same link. But wanted to show that both downloads exist.

Thanks for the info. I followed both links and will dl the driver. It looks like, according to the manual, that you can't just sync the phone to the computer and transfer the photos. Am I reading it right, or is this possible? If not, how should I proceed?

Samsung does not support the transferring of pictures from the SPH-M300 to a PC or laptop. Please contact your service provider for more information.
