A few days ago got a popup to turn on microsft anti-phising x out & from then on I have no sound. ocasionaly I get an IE pop ad that I can close with no repeat till the next time, all ads are different. On startup got the BSOD turned off then on & it booted up okay Have gotten BSOD a few times but boots up fine the next time, then receive a message from windows that it recovered from a serious error( or something like that). scan with Windows Security Essentials and found 1 infected found which it removed. scanned again & no infected files found.Downloaded new drivers for sound card & got sound when rebooted. Got another popup ad and no sound again. Ran Malwarebytes which found & removed one WSE stop a trogen while Malware was scanning. Have rescanned with Malwarebytes & comming up with no infections still getting popup & no sound. By the way these are full scans not quick ones Also sometimes when I open up Outlook 2007 it brings up the Outlook setup page as if I am using it for the first time If I cancel out and restart Outlook it works fine
