I've been using AVG for over a year and never had this problem before.

I've tried several times today to update my AVG, but keep getting a couple of different reasons that it won't update:

1. The requested file cannot be found on the update server. Make sure connection parameters are set properly.

I don't know anything about parameters (at least not by that word). I don't know why all of a sudden my parameters might be set differently than they have been in the last year.

2. Something about it has "timed out", but get that message immediately, not after it's taken any amount of seconds trying to connect or whatever.

It says that a Priority update is ready...

I've read something here before about this (maybe a problem on their end or too many people trying at the same time?) but can't find it now.

Is it me, or is it a problem for lots of people today?? Thanks!

Server glitch at Grisoft - AVG, I believe they are working on it and should have it resolved shortly if they have not already.
This thread from the AVG Forums may help.
