Hello,

Please perform my next instructions in exactly the same order I'm asking you without missing any step!!

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following if still present:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\fservice.exe
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {112340AF-DB47-E9C2-61C2-F70D848EF7BD} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\uiwg.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {EA2D141A-33EA-4960-8049-02C5FE1A1166} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\kbbf.dll (file missing)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ZTgServerSwitch] c:\program files\support.com\client\lserver\server.vbs
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Iinl] "C:\Program Files\sami\emia.exe" -vt mt
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Udojshq] C:\WINDOWS\System32\W?nSxS\regedit.exe
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE
O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} - http://software-dl.real.com/18a3dfee1eae05...ip/RdxIE601.cab
O16 - DPF: {56E4B9EB-4C79-4568-A19E-72794FA70060} (PatsShellOCX Control) - http://mtradeprocf.manfinancial.com/SunJVMPatsFiles/pats.cab
O16 - DPF: {BB6DC163-BF43-4DCC-87BE-6BB999B7D7B3} (HorizonLive SecureDoor) - http://204.193.128.142/util/SecureDoor/win/HZSDCONTROL.CAB

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Make sure your Internet Explorer is closed when you click Fix Checked!

* Download Killbox.
Click killbox.exe.
Select the option "Delete on reboot".

Now copy the next bold:

C:\windows\services.exe
C:\windows\system32\reginv.dll
C:\windows\system32\fservice.exe
C:\windows\system32\winkey.dll
C:\windows\system\sservice.exe
C:\windows\system32\wininv.dll
C:\Program Files\sami\emia.exe

Open 'file' in the killboxmenu on top and choose Paste from clipboard

Now you will see, this is pasted in the "Full Path of File to Delete"-field.
There's a little arrow (dropdown-arrow) next to that field.
If you expand it, these lines must be there together if the files are present!

Then press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it.
Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be deleted on next reboot.. Click YES
When it asks if you would like to Reboot now, click YES
If you don't get that message, reboot manually.
Click No at the Pending Operations prompt.

Your computer must reboot now.

Open notepad and copy and paste next bold in it:
(don't forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4)

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\policies\Explorer\Run]
"DirectX For Microsoft® Windows"=-

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"Shell"="Explorer.exe"

Save this as fix.reg Choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.
This is how the regfix must look afterwards: Posted Image
Doubleclick on it and when it asks you if you want to merge the contents to the registry, click yes/ok.

Delete next folders:

C:\Program Files\sami

C:\WINDOWS\System32\WinSxS

(PLEASE DON'T delete the WinSxS-folder present in your C:\Windows !! That one is legit!!! The one you have to delete is present in your C:\Windows\System32-folder. In that folder C:\WINDOWS\System32\WinSxS, there must be a file regedit.exe present. Also, be carefull here, there is a legit regedit.exe present in your C:\Windows as well, so don't delete that one!!!!!
If you're in doubt here, don't delete that folder, but tell me afterwards, so we are sure you don't start to delete the wrong folder.

Reboot and post a new hijackthislog.

Glad to hear it's fixed.

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Most important thing here --- Visit asap http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com to download and install all the updates and security patches!!

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Housecall and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!

Make sure your windows has the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

If you are having XP SP2, read here how to configure Security Features for Internet Explorer:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/...xp/iesecxp.mspx

More info on how to prevent malware you can also find here (By Tony Klein)

Happy surfing again! :flowers:

Edit.. about those random messages. Yes, that's normal. When a file was not found it gave you that message
Do you still get those after reboot? If so, can you tell me exactly what messages you get?
