Running windows xp pro. I had some malware that I got rid of with malwarebytes and spybot. The only problem I find now is I can't access the windows update webpage. Any ideas?

I've restored IE to its default settings and cleared the cache. My hosts file is fine.

Check to see if malware has set up a proxy server.

See items 4-8 at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-remo...ir-solution-pro for info on how to check.
