anytime i enter a disc in the dvd rom my mouse & pc freezes up i dont know what to do?
help!!!!!!

What sort of disc are you trying to insert?

Check for relevant messages in event viewer? Look at your hardware profiles in hardware manager for information? If needed update possibly corrupt hardware drivers. What if any steps have you taken so far? Or is this your first step?

any disc that i put in it freezes up.
no it isnt i also checked out the cables.

Try to uninstall the drive through Device Manager.
It'll be reinstalled upon reboot.

i did it but nothing happens

Does it happen with any CD/DVD?
