I downloaded and installed a new screensaver for my XP,but it wouldn't activate. In XP's screensaver section I selected it,did the settings, previewed it,clicked Apply and OK..but it won't activate. So I went back to my old original "Windows" (Starfield) screensaver, but it won't work now either,or any other...I tried toggling sreensaver off(None) and on again(But without a restart) .
So far nothing works.
Am I missing something simple?

Beware, most screensavers results on google contain malware. You might of downloaded a virus, instead of a screen saver. If I were, you I would run a quick scan with MalwareBytes
