I am still experiencing redirects on Google search thru Firefox, AVAST unable to connect to server to update and a few other mishaps. Malwarebytes, Super Anti-Spyware and Avast find nothing.

Help is much appreciated.

Ok...let me try this again per the guidelines.

I was infected with the AV Security Suite malware a couple weeks back. I used the instructions provided here at bleepingcomputer.com. [post="http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-av-security-suite"]How to Remove AV Security Suite[/post]

I followed the instructions and everything seemed to be functional. However, since that time I have been experiencing issues while browsing with unwanted pop-ups and site redirects. I also cannot update AVAST as it connects to the server and then time-outs by saying it cannot connect to server. I have run the MalwareBytes program and Super AntiSpyware every other day, connected to the Internet and without connection. I am still not finding anything malicious with these programs other than the typical cookies and trackers.

System Information
Windows XP SP3
Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.7) Gecko/20100713 AskTbFWV5/3.8.0.12304 Firefox/3.6.7
AVAST 5.0.594
Super Antispyware
MalwareBytes

I am not sure what is meant by posting "logs". I hope this information is adequate in resolving this issue. If not, please tell me what information I am missing and I will be more than happy to supply it.

Thanks!!
