I keep getting a hungapp error whenever I go to a site that has a download file.
For example - I navigate to a site that has my bank statement and when I try to access the bank statement it either begins to download it to the screen and hangs up halfway through or in other instances it will completely download the pages to the screen saying "done" or "complete" but then I cannot do anything at all due to the entire screen freezing up. I then have to shut down the page and it is at this point I get the Not Responding and Hungapp error.

My OS is Windows XP Professional

The Error Signature:
szAppName: iexplore.exe
szAppVer: 8.0.6001.18702
szModName: hungapp
offset: 00000000

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sherri -
I have been having the same problem for weeks - I went to cccleaner.com and ran the cleaner, registry and defrag - - and so far that seems to have fixed that menace -
Hope this solves your problem - -
