Hi Vince. It's possible your Firewall may be stopping an ActiveX control, a cookie, a Java program, or HTTP.

I would check that first.

Hi again Vince.Sorry for the delay.

Select Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Scroll down till you find Printing, and make sure the "Print Background Colours and Images" Box is ticked.

If that box is ticked already,I would reset Internet Explorer back to default.

I presume all is up to date in Device manager.

I am not a Guru, just passing on what I have learnt here on Bleeping.

Maybe a Guru would like to chime in.

Your using screen capture before attempting to Print?

thanks for your ideas ,like you i have tried various things including the ones mentioned. a strange thing i have noticed is that web pages encoded in western european script appear to be ok. strange yeah.

Hi
no change to the printing problem but ie8 now freezes on a regualar basis, so i have decided to uninstall then reinstall. however i am running windows7 & in does not seem to show an uninstall option in the control panel, plus there appear to be two entries for it as i am running a 64 bit option. do i need to try & uninstall both & do i have to download two versions. a bit confused.
perhaps i should try firefox ?
