Hello bleeping computer! I recently dealt with the AV security shield virus. After four hours of being able to do nothing, I found help dealing with it on this site. Everything worked out and I got rid of 178 infections.

However, I still believe there is something infecting my computer. After logging off then logging back on, I will sometimes find a svc host error, and the start menu graphics go back to the win xp version, or something close to it.
I've tried to research this issue through google, but everytime i click on a site with windows errors, it redirects me yellowpages or some other site with numbers and places of companies that sell and install glass 'windows'.

So I'm hoping someone can help me. I have MBAM and AVG and I've been running both very frequently to try and find anything, but i continue to find no infections.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at Step 6.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
